Happy New Year to everybody! I hope you all had a great time.
Unfortunately we have not had the best of starts to the New Year; on the very first day Callum took ill with a viral infection, which then developed into croup (where they struggle to get breath and have a barking cough). He's well on the mend now, but it was quite scary for a little while - we had to take him up to Accident and Emergency on the morning of the second as his breathing was so bad, luckily a dose of steroids sorted him out and he is much better - in fact he is back to terrorising the household again but I'm so happy about it that I'm letting him! He's been allowed to break so many rules today and I know I'll pay for it later but right now, I'm just glad he's OK. I feel so lucky that we live somewhere where we have access to such great medical care, and that we have for the most part a happy, healthy little boy.
Although the breathing has been sorted, he still has the viral infection but a few days rest should see him fine. However, this means I probably won't be able to post up anything much on the blog for a couple of days, as I'll just be concentrating on Callum - I'm sure you all understand and bear with me.
I'll still be trying to do my Project 52 shots though (I've still got a few days to do this in!) and I'll be back before you know it! Hope everyone else who is doing it with me has had some ideas - I'm really looking forward to seeing what you all come up with.
Wishing you all the best for 2013!

Glad to hear callus is on the mend. I know that the entire ordeal must have been quite scary. Take care!
Take care! And Happy new year!
Oh, my spell check on this silly iPad changed callum's name. So sorry! I'm a beginner on this thing.
Happy New Year Audrey. Sorry to hear about Callum, wishing him a speedy recovery. x
It hurts seeing your babies sick... I hope Callum is doing well.
Hope he feels better soon! Nothing worse than when your baby is sick. Happy New Year!
Thanks everyone - think he has turned a corner tonight so hopefully no more sleeping on some cushions by his bed for me!!!
