In case the writing on the picture is too small for you to see on your computer. it says:
I won't always cry mummy,
when you leave the room,
and my supermarket tantrums,
will end too soon,
I won't always wake you
for cuddle through the night,
and one day you will miss
having a chocolate face to wipe.
You won't always wake up to find
my foot is kicking you out of bed,
and find me sideways on your pillow,
where you want to lay your head.
You won't always have to carry me,
in asleep from the car,
or piggy back me down the road when
my little legs can't walk that far.
So cherish every cuddle,
remember them all,
One day Mummy,
I won't be this small.
I loved everything about this picture, from his expression and the lovie, to the perfect lighting and the background, and of course the sentiment that went along with it. It made me want to pick up the camera and photograph my own son - after I'd given him a great big cuddle and kiss that is. (Which he will wipe off, naturally) It has inspired me to pick up my camera again to document the little things, as he won't always be this age, and I want to make sure that I can remember it all.
Thanks to Dani for letting me share her picture on the blog (I appreciate it) and I hope you all found it inspiring too!
